ASHLEIGH BENNETT is a Townsville based performer. Playing regular gigs as a solo and duo artist, Ashleigh has managed to build her expertise in live acoustic performances with her music really coming to life in an acoustic setting. She has performed in many of Sydney’s great venues providing live popular music and acoustic performances with audiences being drawn in by her distinctive, dulcet voice and pure tones.

Her covers span across 80’s hits from the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Phil Collins to current divas like Beyonce and Taylor Swift. 

For Duo gigs, Ashleigh is beautifully complimented by Ben Bennett’s skilful and intricate guitar work and vocals, producing the perfect atmosphere for all party or loved-up occasions- or both!. Their vast repertoire spans over many decades and styles, allowing the duo to create luscious, unforgettable renditions of an eclectic variety of universally loved tunes.

In addition to this Ashleigh is a graduate from Brent Street, where she completed her Diploma of Musical Theatre. Most recently Ashleigh featured in the Australia premiere season and national tour of "Green Days American Idiot The Musical" in the role of Heather and the national tour of "Grease The Arena Experience" in the leading role of Sandy. Prior to this, Ashleigh also performed the role of Ellen in Packemin Production's "Miss Saigon" winning her the Broadway World Award for Best Supporting Actress In a Musical, and was “thrillified” to take on the principal role of Elphaba in Packemin Productions "Wicked", earning her a GLUG Award nomination for "Most outstanding performance by a newcomer".
